Why do you need the National Insurance numbers of my staff?

How the NI number is used.
- It is important to us to count people only once.
- The NINO helps us do this by using the Nino and the employee’s date of birth we can be confident that they only appear once in the national statistics.
- We do not use the Nino for any other reason.
- The Nino is used by Skills for Care only.
- It will not be shared with any other agency or person.
