There are a number of adult social care employers who have provided workforce information to Skills for Care but have not activated their online accounts.
These employers are missing out on the benefits of the free NMDS-SC resource! Old data has an impact on the quality of information generated by the NMDS-SC, for example average pay rates, therefore these accounts will be closed by the end of March 2010 if not activated.
It’s so easy to activate and update your information
To activate your free online account go to www.nmds-sc-online.org.uk and click on the ‘log in’ button then enter your username and password. This first time you log into your account it will ask for your NMDS-SC ID number.
In your own time you can go through your information, looking at your establishment details making sure the information is still correct, including your CQC number if you are registered. You can also look at your worker details and enter new workers and delete those that may have left. If the information needs changing you can simply use the edit and save buttons. You can do this as many times as you need to and if you get distracted don’t worry you can save and go back to it later!
You have already submitted this data once, so why should you bother updating this information?
The NMDS-SC is a tool that can help you in the management of your business and the quality of service you provide. The NMDS-SC now has a full range of reports available to your business that will help you make decisions on recruitment, retention, pay and development of your staff.
Skills for Care will be in touch shortly with these employers to find out why these accounts have not been activated and offer extra support if needed.
